The pictures in this section are from my various trips, from vacation to personal runs.

Some are model railroads, some are real railroads. This is a summary of what I saw.

  10/15/11  –   Trip to the Austin Train Expo, to Fred & Peggy's and some bumming

Along the way found a nicely restore Santa Fe depot and two freight houses, plus saw Fred's new mobile layout

 

 

  11/7/08  –   Dennis Griggasy’s new home and new HO layout, the Old Orchard & Southern

The initial track work is in and a loop around the room is running, with operations and staging started.

 

 

  8/16/08 a  –   The Hill Country Outlaws On30 Group had a great modular layout setup at the

  8/16/08 b          New Braunfels Summer Train Show.  This was one of the largest setups to date.

 

 

  1/27/08   –    Hill Country Outlaws On30 Group set at the San Antonio Model Railroad Assoc. show

A two day train show in the Live Oak Civic Center for the HO club train show

 

 

  11/9/07  –   Operations on Dennis Griggasy’s HO Waterside Railway in West Houston

A group of guys operating on a fun home layout, two levels and several trains in action.

 

  10/8/07  –   Hill Country Outlaws  On30 – module setup at AMRE train show in San Antonio

The group setup a nice large ‘E’ shaped layout at the local train show over two days of running.

 

 

   1/28/06  –  Joe & Sharon Mainz’s HO scale home layout

Photos taken during a great home layout with lots of details and based on the Southern Pacific.

 

  10/29/05  –   Hill Country Outlaws  On30 – module setup at Kings Hobbys

In conjunction with the Austin Train Jamboree, the group setup on the hobby shop sidewalk.

 

 

  8/31/05  –   Dennis Grigassy’s HO Waterside Railway

A home layout in the Houston area, setup for operations.

 

 

  8/20/05  –   Hill Country Outlaws  On30 – module setup at area train show

The group setup a nice size layout at the New Braunfels Summer Train Show.

 

 

  8/19/05a  –   John Koch’s On3 Rio Grande Southern layout,  in Atlanta

  7/24b – Saturday afternoon, walking the Cumbres & Toltec yard in Chama, NM

  7/25  –  Sunday, chasing the C&TS train from Chama to Los Pinos, then back later

  7/26 – Leadville, Colorado & Southern RR caboose ride, plus mining museum and mines

  7/27 – Georgetown Loop RR, cab ride, two train rides and mine tour, plus two HO layouts

  7/28 – Denver… visiting the CRRM Museum, Heritage Square, Tiny Town, plus On3 layout

  7/29 – Denver then Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek… 1/2" layout, car repairs and HO layout

  7/30 – Cripple Creek & Victor NGRR, then mines around Victor and riding down Phantom Canyon

  7/xx – Mines around Idaho Springs and around Victor
