Barry Bogs'  1/22.5  scale

Union Pacific  Big Boy  4018

Almost Complete - May 12th 2022

Well, I was beginning to think that this day would never come! The boys in the shop have been so excited to push the engine out of the shop
and get it running!  A few minor details are yet to be done. Your's truly was trying to show the boys in the shop how to apply lettering to
the side of the cab, when I grabed the wrong surface prep material and the paint and decal went south on me. I had to sand the side of the cab
and repaint it. Of course the lettering was custom made for the 4018 and the new decals are now on order from our friends at Circus City Decals.
A little touchup paint here and there and I think it will be ready to transfer the the CWRR where it will run it's maiden voyage. It's been
a long time coming, but I am pleased with how it looks and It is great to finally get it off the shop floor and into service.
