Barry Bogs'  1/22.5  scale Union Pacific  Big Boy  4018 Tender Started - Oct 25th, 2020

After many hours of work by the boys in the shop, the masters for the Big Boy tender are done! The boys made the tender sides with tubes cut the long way and bonded together. They then laminated the sides with a sheet of 10 thousands material, so that it is seamless. Once the forms were done, the boys started adding all of the millions of rivets. There was much fatigue with various body parts before the riveting was done. With the sides done, I directed the boys to make the front and rear masters, so that all the molds can be made this week.  - Barry
