Switching is my main interest, but you need an industry and spur to help make switching fun. To add more life, looks and character, I placed appropriate structures on the layout, at the spur locations. Many of these were suppose to be temporary, but lasted well over a year. Some structures were simply poster or hard-board mock-ups, painted and given details.
