2nd Set of F Units

The other A-B set was painted in an early Rio Grande scheme

Here are pictures of the early paint scheme of the D+RGW F3's. Bogs Locomotive Works rolled out the F3's just as a rain storm came up and the new units got all dirty. The general manager was not pleased, as BLW prides it self with clean engines. Nothing that a good wash job won't take care of. This was one of the toughest paint jobs the shop has ever done. It has taken over two months toget it right and it still needs some touch up. Well, BLW still has engines and cars to turn out, so enough lacking and back to work. Thanks for your time.
