| The tender is now completed and and ready for painting (when weather permits). Barry tends to build the tender first, as it goes quicker and gives inspiration to work on and finish the engine. |

"I got the boys
refocused on getting the tender complete. There was much detailing to be done,
as you can see. I hope now I can move forward with the engine chassis, as
there is much to be worked out with the overall design of the locomotive. The
boys are still excited to see the Big Boy run and keep asking me when BLW is
going to jump off and start their own BB project, but I keep turning a deaf
ear to them and try to keep them focused on the F81 project" - - Barry
