Fabrication of the rounded and custom curves of the nose.  Here are Barry's words to explain...

Well, as you can see, the boys in the fabrication shop worked on the front window frame master and tacked it to the cab sides, so that I could see how the nose needed to be built, and mate up to it. The basic frame of the nose was fabricated with the slope on the front first. The frame was then wrapped with two layers of sheet material, and then the form for the arch at the rear of the nose was cut and installed. The top of the nose is arched and sloped with curved corners to the sides. Here is where a lot of the head scratching occurred. How to get all of that correct to the plan. Well as you can see, the boys used multiple supports to get it to work, and then laid the top sheet on. Lots of carving of the corners took place to get it to the point you see here. Of course it is far from finished.    - Barry
