The following is a collection of pictures found doing a general web search for pictures of these diesels.  The first picture is special as it shows one of the first units being unloaded at the Port of Houston in 1961, about an hour from where Barry lives today.  The next 7 show the Rio Grande engines at various places, including some with a Dynamometer test car (like Barry built in early 2017).  After those, the next two pictures show the Rio Grande units right after being sold to the Southern Pacific in 1964, they still with Grande's paint scheme but with SP on the sides.  The next two show various some SP units.  The last two show SP's 2nd cab and body style.
