Bogs Locomotive Works Western Maryland 3 Truck Shay #6

In late 2015 and early 2016, Barry has been at work scratch building a Standard Gauge, 3-truck Shay
The Shay was completed in early July 2016.  The engine runs on  Gauge 3  trackage  ( LGB track is Gauge 1 ).
These pages cover the construction, from rails up to running, plus includes prototype photos and plans.

	7/3/16	Painted, Finished and Ready to Run		Finished and Test Running
	5/14/16	Assemble Completed – ready for paint!
	5/1/16	The plumbing and detail work starts		Trucks and drive system is test run
	4/22/16	Boiler and Cab work is started
	3/25/16	Frame is complete, drive connected		Scale Drawings and Prototype Photos
	3/11/16	Trucks are ready, tender is built
	Fall 2015	Project started, pistols and trucks first
