Temporary Backyard Landing Zone

On Sunday 8/6/06, it was very calm before a storm. So wanted to fly outside.

The smaller helicopters have a habit of sinking in to the grass and the tail rotor

gets stuck in grass blades. The CX has no tail rotor but is even smaller so...

Took advantage of a tarp I have. Laid out on the grass to create a level surface

to fly from. Side benefit, springy landing site. Future plan is a large, cheap rug.
