Time for Painting

January 19th, 2019

Construction now completed and ready for paint.  Due to damp weather in winter around Houston,
painting is held until a day or two of clear, semi-dry, warm weather.  Then the T-12 was disassembled and painted.

"The boys in the shop have stayed busy through the cold winter months, but the paint shop has been
on hold here and there, because of the weather. I had a request that I take pictures of the paint job in progress,
so here are some of the highlights of the process. The boys struggled with the green boiler jacket paint job.
Some of the boys have a bad attitude about painting in general, so it is no wonder that work has been slow
in that department! Well, as you can see, it has slowly come together. Stay tuned for the next part, when BLW
releases the engine to the CWRR for it's maiden voyage on the RR."   - -  Barry
