Dynamometer Car #10

During March and April of 2017,  Barry scratch built a standard gauge, "dynamometer" car,  finished May 7th.
These were originally Troop Transport cars during World War II  (a cheap passenger car for troops).
After the War, sold off to the railroads and converted to various uses, often for Maintenance of Way service.
The Rio Grande converted some to be used for Diesel Locomotive testing during train movements.  This is a model
of #10, that unlike it's MOW grey painted sisters, received Grande Gold paint to match the Rio Grande F units.

March 2017  Construction starts on the car

April 2017  Cast parts come together

May 2017  It is painted and finished
